World Movie Awards Americas is a division of the World Movie Awards Organization (WMAs), and it covers the Americas. WMAs Americas promotes the safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and honors professional excellence in cinema.

 In North America, cinema has played a significant role in the intensified interrelation of social activity on local and global scales and influenced other cultures. Our efforts to safeguard indigenous culture, and promote indigenous customs and traditions in films, will foster our communities, contribute to individual well-being and promote human rights.
